Most parents always tell there children, "wait till you get to the real world" when something small bothers us as children... at least that's what mine told me. In a sense it makes you curious what could be so different, but it also gives it a dark undertone as if life is inherently against each one of us as we age. I can confirm, the real world of professional golf is absolutely against you. HA!

The Player

My name is Kevin Burns. I've decided it would be a fun activity to blog and video my journey into professional golf. I'm a rare case of a player (which I may share in another post) that really had so many other experiences before being able to take a shot at this.

We'll start this journey by taking a bit of back story as to how I got here. As time goes on, I'll add events that I play in, the results, and plenty more on the experiences!

The Traveling Trio

In this blog & the videos I post, you'll find three main people: myself, my wife (Miranda), and my dad (Terry). We are known as the traveling trio before getting to this point for doing things like going skiing and fishing together.

Our tournaments will begin with heading north to Canada as I try to earn status on PGA Americas and get exemptions for the Korn Ferry's Q-School.
